Crowdfund Next Steps

Hi everyone - it’s been a while! As stated previously, all the crowdfund rewards are currently here in the studio and are prepared to be sent off. At this time, we don’t have the funding to ship all rewards at once, so deliveries will be staggered over time. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this. In case you missed it, here’s the rewards again:

We’ve heard your feedback about the uncertainty of timelines surrounding VocaTone rewards, so we’re setting up a dedicated email form for VocaTone reward questions and a public shipping log for reward deliverables. We will try to reply to responses within three business days.

On the other hand, VocaTone and Crescendia’s quiet period has led to some building confusion, so we’d also like to clarify with an official statement regarding our involvement:

  • VocaTone now operates as a third-party partner to Maghni AI. We are not involved in the development of the engine or the management of its budget. We are not fully informed about the current status of Maghni AI or the specific details of its recent restructuring.
  • VocaTone did not handle or have access to the funds raised through the Indiegogo campaign. The crowdfunding budget was managed by Misbah Studios and was largely allocated to Barham, the then sole-developer of the Maghni AI engine.
  • Our initial role in the campaign was limited to hosting and creating promotional materials for Maghni AI, including the use of VocaTone’s characters and branding on the Indiegogo page.

We remain fully supportive of Maghni AI and the new Crescendia team, who, like us, are working through challenges with limited resources. We know that everyone involved is doing their best, and we appreciate the ongoing efforts on all sides.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide more clarity on the status of the CF rewards. We’re still in the process of rebuilding, and we’re committed to doing so without leaving anyone behind. We also encourage you to continue supporting Maghni AI as they move forward to the next stage of their development.
